Charger booms Beats™ by Dr. Dre™

The 2012 Charger is already loud enough, what with its 292-horsepower, 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine (370-hp 5.7L HEMI® V8 and 470-hp 6.4L HEMI® V8 options available). There's no question that people will hear you coming down the street in the Charger; but with the new Beats sound system, it might be the tunes you're bumping that they notice first. The system will feature:
- Beats Audio technology
- 12-channel amplifier
- Uconnect© Touchscreen (8.4 inches)
Like the Beats audio system, the 2012 Charger is a high-performance machine. Yet, just like you don't have to ride with the volume on max, you don't have to drive with your foot to the floor. In fact, considering engine output, the Charger is quite efficient. The 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine gets up to an EPA-estimated 31 mpg. The new, 8-speed automatic transmission contributes to an 11% overall reduction in emissions over last year's model, as well as improved efficiency when starting the Charger in harsh conditions.
Most things are better taken in moderation. The same is true in the new 2012 Dodge Charger; Orlando drivers get big performance and big style while driving one of the most efficient vehicles in its class. So put in your favorite CD, turn up your Beats system and ride on with a smile!
