Come April, a new Viper rears its head

The Spring season may seem far away, but April 2012 has a lot in store for Dodge and its loyal customer base. Apart from new greens and pleasant showers, April means the 2012 New York Auto Show and the introduction of the 2013 lineup for Dodge. With the success of models like the Dodge Ram 1500, everyone is eager to see what else Dodge has in store. And with good reason: Dodge recently announced its plans to unveil the 2013 Dodge Viper at this year's show.

With Super Bowl approaching, Chrysler preps award-winning ad

The Super Bowl is quickly approaching bringing with it a new slate of exciting commercials for Americans to look forward to. Viewers and car enthusiasts alike would do well to pay special attention to what Chrysler puts out; the automaker's ad for the previous Super Bowl (XLV) won the Emmy Award for best commercial in 2011. This makes sense; last year's Super Bowl took place in Detroit, home of the ad's feature vehicle - the Chrysler 200. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, sold in Orlando, Chrysler 200 continues to flourish as we move into 2012.


Chrysler tests pickup plug-ins

Chrysler has recently announced that it will begin testing on a new line of plug-in hybrid pickup trucks. In cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, Chrysler will make five Dodge Ram 1500 plug-in prototypes to a Nevada research facility for further development. The project will investigate fuel-economy, energy grid impact and the overall feasibility of plug-in pickup trucks.
